The Thoroughbred Education and Research Foundation (TERF) is pleased to announce they have opened the 2026 grant to support education and research that helps Thoroughbred racehorses. Grants are available to qualified 501(c)(3) organizations, with applications due April 1, 2026 for education and scholarship funding and June 30, 2026 for research funding.
In 2025, TERF awarded more than $118,000 in grants to support eight education organizations and three research projects. Grant recipients will be notified by June 30, 2026 (education) and October 1, 2026 (research).
